Pencil Me In

Ok, now that it has already been established that I have an eye for fashion, I also have an eye for pieces that will have you standing out in a crowd. I love “rare finds”, items that you will not see in your lival department stores on everyone else when wearing it.  But even moreso, I love pecil skirts.  Pencil skirts are a slim-fitting skirt with a straight, narrow cut. Generally the hem falls to, or is just below the knee and is tailored for a close fit. It is named for its shape hence, long and slim like a pencil. 

Pencil skirts are a must have for every woman’s wardrobe. This timeless piece enhances curves and make you appear smaller while making you look and feel great. You don’t have to pay a million bucks to look like you spent a million bucks. This sophisticated handmade pencil skirt captured my attention with the vibrant colors and polished paisley patterns. Originally it was purchased in midi length but I had it hemmed to shorten it to knee length. To compliment the skirt, I chose a solid white puff sleeve blouse so it wouldn’t take away from capturing the moment of how beautiful this skirt really is.  I finished the look with my fave “Red Bottoms” and a Louis Vuitton handbag. This look can be worn on any and all occasions and I’m open, so pencil me in.
