Suspended in Awesomeness

I am on the countdown to the New Year, 2017 has truly been good to me. I am surely reaping some of the seeds that I have sown. This is truly my season, I am feeling good and dressing the same way that I am feeling. This season, I plan on purchasing and wearing some items that I would not normally wear. I’m truly your typical conservative gal but every now and then I like to wear things that the next person may give a side eye look.

When I saw these high waisted pants with attached suspenders, initially I gave them the side eye but then I said to myself, why not? It’s no secret that one of the things that I love about myself is definitely my height. As a lil girl, I have always desired to be tall. These pants are definitely made for the “tall one”. The suspenders gave it a more elegant look and I knew that I had to have them. I paired them with a polka dot top with bell sleeves and a pair of high heel booties. So let me tell you about these awesome booties because the picture doesn’t do them any justice. I ordered these boots online thinking the color (bordo) was pink, to my surprise, I opened the box and they were a dark red, leaning more towards purple 😬. They were so cute that I still decided to keep them. The side details has cutout designs in the shapes of an X and they zip in the back. The heel height is 4 inches but they are very comfortable. You can’t go wrong with them because they are sure to compliment any outfit.
