Sandals vs. Booties

It’s almost summertime, time to bring out the shorts. It gets super hot here in Georgia so shorts are always perfect for this time of year. There’s nothing like a woman dressed in a nice business pant suit. The summertime solution lies in shorts suit, a genius blazer-and-shorts combo that lets us keep our armor, office dress code permitting, without overheating. Worn together, the shorts suit has all the makings of a regular power suit, but with truncated hem for maximum ventilation. My job doesn’t allow shorts but this is the perfect look if your job does especially if there is no dress code where you work or if there is a dress code for no “short” shorts then opt for burmuda shorts. Bermuda shorts are knee length.

For this look, I chose a pair of bright, beautiful mid rise floral shorts with just enough stretch for all-day comfort. I paired the shorts with a white tank top and a pink blazer. I completed the look with a pair of high heel sandals and then switched to a pair of high heel pink booties because I couldn’t decide on which to post lol.
