It’s My Bloggerversary

It’s my Bloggerversary, today marks one whole year that I have been blogging. I started blogging as a hobby, I noticed that when I posted pictures on social media, people would be asking where I purchased my outfits from so that kind of motivated me to start it as well and here I am a year later. Thanks to all of those that support me.

As a fashion blogger, I don’t confine myself to one type of fashion, I post a variety from casual attire to the working woman 9-5 attire. I always try to display a variety of options but more important, I post affordable options. I am a firm believer that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to dress nice.

For this look, I chose a pair of navy blue and white wide striped shorts from Ann Taylor. I paired it with a basic white tank top and then to tie it all together, I added a navy blue blazer with small white polka dots from J. Crew. To add some color, I completed the look with a pair of pink heel sandals and a wicker clutch.

Who says you can’t combine patterns, if you do it correctly then it will look great. I love mixing patterns as it is very eye catchy. There are prints that come and go and prints that stand the test of time. Polka dots most certainly fall under the latter category. Why not dare to be different, I randomly paired strpes with polka dots and I was even more surprised to put them together and have them look cute! Try something bold by wearing only stripes and polka dots like the look below.
