Just in case you haven’t quite notice it, this is the season for plaid and it’s here to stay. Plaid is the ‘it’ pattern season after season, with good reason as it is versatile and very trendy. If you think plaid is only useful for the country look, think again! This fall you can create chic attire by incorporating interesting plaid pieces; don’t restrict yourself to a shirt. Attempt a personal styling with scarves, skirts, and cardigans.
Though I would recommend choosing some fashionable items in a solid color to avoid a one-dimensional visual. If you are as plaid-crazy as I am becoming, you want to make sure not to overdo it.
For this look, I chose a black and white plaid skirt that has a small thin burgundy line. So not to overdo it, I paired it with a solid white blouse with a huge necktie blouse. I completed the look with a pair of burgundy pumps and a BCBG patterned clutch.
