Have you ever heard any old sayings or quotes, but never thought about the meaning until it resonates with events or situations pertaining to your life at that present time?
Sometimes you gotta Lose, to Win

Exactly 1 year ago to date, I lost my job of 16 years, received a certified letter in the mail while on FMLA stating that I was being terminated. My world stopped, My life as I knew it, changed instantly, without warning. Anyone that knows me, they will tell you that I’m a very strong person but this was just too much at once.
I was lost, confused, bitter, and angry. Every emotion that you can think of, I experienced it. I had just recently divorced and on top of that I was experiencing serious health challenges and didn’t even know if I were going to survive from the serious complications.
But God…
If God brings you to it, he will bring you through it 🙏🏽

It’s My Winning Season
Fast forward to today. It’s my winning season! I now see that God closed that door because he had something better in store for me. He knew that I had reached my potential at that job and he had to move me because otherwise, I wasn’t going to move on my own. He had so much more in the plans for me that I wasn’t even aware of. I couldn’t just wallow in pity. I have daughters watching me and after all, I didn’t go to school to get this PhD for nothing 💁🏽♀️

I now own my own Business Consulting Company: Simply Meshonda Consulting, LLC.
I was already a part time Blogger but those unforeseen events forced me to become a Full Time Blogger and my business is flourishing, doing Fashion Consulting and Marketing.
I also have a Full Time job that allows me to be able to continue to work with children and families in the Human Services field..
God has allowed me to use my talents that he gave me to lift me to new heights.

Plot Twist
My health is great and Life is going on.
When I say, what the enemy meant for evil definitely turned out to be good. The best revenge is allowing them to see your success.
I tell you all of this not to brag and boast but to encourage and inspire you. Sometimes when you think things are falling apart, they may actually just be falling together.
Tough times don’t last but tough people do.
